St. Mungo's Cathedral is dedicated to St. Mungo, patron saint of the city of Glasgow. The current cathedral building was built between the 12th and 15th centuries and is a remarkable piece of Scottish Gothic architecture. (Visit.)
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. Among the museum's exhibits are paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Picasso, Dali, Van Gogh, Degas, Monet, Botticelli and Scottish painters. As well as a collection of sculptures, a collection of drawings of furniture made by the famous Glasgow-born architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh. In addition, a number of exhibitions dedicated to the historical heritage of Scotland and Glasgow.
Robert Burns Birthplace and Museum is the cottage where the great Scottish poet was born. The museum is dedicated to the life and work of the poet and contains a large collection of manuscripts.
